Wild turkeys (Meleagris gallopavo) are smart birds that can adapt to the environment, work together in a flock, and are inquisitive creatures. Wild turkeys are also fast movers—flying up to 55 miles per hour in the air and running up to 25 miles per hour on land. While you may be able to recognize the bird by its fanned-out tail, bare heads, and gobbling call, there's so much more to these birds.
A very old MOC that I have rebuilt for the same customer of the Saloon MOC, I wanted to retain that classic feel of the original Wild west sets but with some added details.
Pineapple Weed. Very widespread and so called because when crushed the flowers smell strongly of pineapple...May 24 2020.
Picked a ton of these today. Tasted as good as they look. I now weigh 1/2 ton more than I did yesterday. Cinzia, let's make a pie!
This is just one of dozens of images I've taken recently of wild garlic growing locally. I wanted some sun - but as we all know, that has been sadly lacking, as well as a 'soft' image, which is what I've achieved here. Hopefully I'll get some more chances to try different techniques before they start to fade.

Loin of wild boar, lightly smoked, then sauteed. Break up (with a fork) some boiled potatoes, then carefully mix with stirfried chinese cabbage & brunoise of apple, thym, roasted macademia and a pinch of currypowder.
The mash with cabbaga and apple was a little bit too sweet for me. I wouldn't want to eat this again.

There's always that one 'fruit' in the family or wild child in every bunch - or in this case patch. I can only image what music a water melon listens to. Bananarama? Smashing Pumpkins? Lemonheads? The Cranberries? Blind Melon?

There's a kind of wild beauty to the dried up stands of weeds on a building site. Still one of my favourite hunting grounds.
Hunting the endangoured wild nemo has become a very tragic practice amongst young wild Arabic men. This was a rare occasion that one of these tragic incodences were cought on tape.
Wild apples are very difficult to find or believe in as they have all been cross pollinated with modern varieties. The above is certainly archaic when compared with the gala of modern goldens and pinks.
Today we ask that fruit and vegetables might be mis-shaped and slow grown in real soil without a ridiculous chemical glaze. A move forward to qualities from our deep pasts. Despite this, this small rotting apple misses the cut, and few would argue that supermarkets should sell these examples and that we should be delighted customers willing to cut away the rotting half.
After wind and shorter days, there are always one or two apples that manage to stay on the tree - rotting in situ without ever falling into the long grass. A prehistoric hunter with his long blade and eye for an opportunity would see this late season reminder and smile. With knife dexterity he would remove the unwanted half and chew into the core. The small pleasure of getting the better of the rot towards inanimate and keeping with the living.

Wild haggis (Haggis scoticus) is a mysterious creature said to be native to the Scottish Highlands.[1][2] It is comically claimed to be the source of haggis, a traditional Scottish dish that is in fact made from the innards of sheep (including heart, lungs, and liver).[3]
According to some sources, the wild haggis's left and right legs are of different lengths (cf. Sidehill gouger or Dahu), allowing it to run quickly around the steep mountains and hillsides which make up its natural habitat, but only in one direction.[2][4] It is further claimed that there are two varieties of haggis, one with longer left legs and the other with longer right legs. The former variety can run clockwise around a mountain (as seen from above) while the latter can run anticlockwise.[5] The two varieties coexist peacefully but are unable to interbreed in the wild because in order for the male of one variety to mate with a female of the other, he must turn to face in the same direction as his intended mate, causing him to lose his balance before he can mount her. As a result of this difficulty, differences in leg length among the haggis population are accentuated.[2]
