It is not impossible to skip the crowds even in summer, but not on a family vacation, with the schedule we had! The rainbow came and went quickly, and there was no time to set up and experiment with composition or put a filter on.
a quick scan off of the first test roll on the soon-to-mine Hasselblad SWC. I was a bit nervous about the range focusing on these, because i like images to be sharp... but every frame I shot the focus was exactly where I was hopping! the deep DOF really helps with that. I can't wait to travel with this camera!
Autos or rickshaws join the many different forms of vehicle on the crazy roads of Bangalore. You can even request an Uber Auto. Not the most comfortable of travel but offer good opportunities for some street photos.

A shallow stretch of Fish Creek, showing 'micro-islands' of grass, shorelines with small erosion bluffs, and a forest of poplar trees on the adjacent floodplain. At Fish Creek Provincial Park in southeast Calgary.

Near the Wall Street Mill in Joshua Tree National Park.
Houses with front yards, trees and shrubs, driveways, and sidewalks (typical for a residential area) in Altadore, an older suburban neighbourhood in Calgary. (The area was suburban when it was built decades ago, but its location is now more central in the city, and newer suburbs are tens of kilometres from the downtown core.) The mature white-barked tree adds considerable visual interest to its yard and the streetscape.
