Roses Are R.... I Mean, White - IMRAN™
I’m so lucky with roses I’ve planted at my blessed homes. My rose bushes grew 5-8 feet tall in Long Island, New York, with some of the most beautifully scented flowers ever. The dozen bushes I planted in the Apollo Beach, Florida, home are of various sizes, from 3-9 feet tall, with varying scents and a large variety of colors. This is a beautiful white one blooming in the left driveway. You can see two other red and pink ones in the background if you move the screen or mouse around for the 3D effect.

Whiteroses
The gardeners did a brilliant job in planting these and many other varieties of roses. Hoping to share them with you people soon.
Stay safe.
First blooming, first blossom of a new addition to my garden, a white rugosa rose. Wonderfully aromatic.
It will need serious protection in my winter.
Gas was 50 cents a gallon
They'd put it in for you
They'd bump your tires and check your oil
And wash your windows too
Now there's plywood for glass
Where the windows all got smashed
And there's just a chunk a'concrete
Where those old pumps used to stand...

"The red rose whispers of passion,
And the white rose breathes of love;
O, the red rose is a falcon,
And the white rose is a dove."
- John Boyle O'Reilly
Remembering that fatal day massacre Dec.6th,1989... 14 young women from the Polytechnique de Montreal lost their lives just because they were 'WOMEN'. Members of the engineering faculty had no chance of survival. It's still so fresh in my mind having lived one street from this place, my girls were in high school, but the commotion, police, ambulances and parents parking anyway just to be able to run to the university of Montreal and get news of their loved ones. To see stretchers after stretchers go by, not knowing who they were, how was their state and what had happened is still so fresh in my mind & I'm not a parent of these young women, I can't imagine what their loved ones were feeling and really nobody will ever know, feelings are either put in full view or kept in a part of one's heart to return to and try to make sense of all that happened on Wednesday december 6th,1989
R.I.P.
The 14 roses and the explosion of my drawing is hanging in my office to remember... that I too am a woman and it can happen at any age or time.
BUT HAVE WE LEARNED SOMETHING.....
