Believe it or not, it is a regular A4 paper. There are sides, lines and dot, just hope you see them all. Thanks for the visit.

20191006_9752_EOS M-100 Sprocket Holes in a Row [Explored] (279/365)

I was going to photograph a row of dice for this week's Macro Monday challenge and went to get some white paper to put them on, and grabbed some old plain while computer lineflow (it was always called "lineflow" regardless of if it had printed lines or blank as here), saw the sprocket holes and decided that they were "in a row".

And this view is about 70mm along the row of holes.

Music, music, music... Here is a bird with some electronic power :)

I took the pic and made the sketch as usual. I was sitting outside

of a restaurant in Lisbon, Portugal. Several birds came and moved

from one chair to another hoping to draw my attention to receive

some food (I gave them all my bread). If you wish, you can view

the sketch in progress and some preparatory photos at this link.

>>> Review from THE DAILY MAIL for this picture:

"A bird blares out music from a boombox around his neck: Ben

begins by taking a picture of an everyday scene then covers part

of the shot with a sketch - transforming the bland backdrops into

intriguing scenarios" (Matt Blake, The Daily Mail, July 2012).

Update: See THIS VIDEO showing some 18 Pencil Vs Camera

images in progress (with a small animation and original music).

Macro Mondays theme: just white paper

Macro Mondays: "White paper"

15,5 x 11 cm fein Aquarell Papier- Copics, Yono, Acryl, Marker, Blei, Liner, Aquarell

Keeping the theme simple triangles of white copier paper curled with 2 remote speedlites, on a background of white poster paper

A small 3" x 3" white notepaper folded and photographed from above, with a shallow depth of field (f/4.0). A torch was placed about 30cm to the right, with a small black light torch (used for charging fluorescent fishing lures) to the left (about 10cm) giving the blue colour. Minimal processing apart from cropping to a square format.

Just white paper

Just playing around... putting that paint to paper.

I bought a heap of colour pencils which I will give to my great-granddaughter for her colour-in books. If I draw or write I use a lead pencil.....

Forgive me for repeating myself throughout each photograph but I'm not expecting you, the viewer, to look at each shot I have taken ... of course I would be delighted if you did.

I diagonally cut a small selection of white pieces of paper and fanned them out. What you see is the shots taken at various apertures, angles and direction of light. I found the simplicity effective and pleasing, I hope you do too? Thank you for taking the time to look at them.

This piece was part of my show "If the Shoe Fits" that it was all about shoes.

OMG, can't believe how hard this genre was. My white paper refused to come out white on my camera or computer, in fact I have had every colour except white. A very interesting subject this week because I have had to use a lot of different settings on my camera that I have never used before, especially in the white balance and meter settings.

Anyway, what you see is a very small leaf on a very small branch, made using one of my craft punches; and you get an awful lot of hole punches out of a sheet of A4 paper.

Looking forward to viewing every one else's take on this weeks theme and hope you had better luck than me as regards White. HMM.
