Go North East Wright Solar-bodied Scania L94UB 4928 (Y928ERG), in blue "Whey Aye Five O" livery, pictured at South Shields before heading towards Durham Bus Station on route 50.
For some unknown reason this is currently on loan to Chester-le-Street from Washington depot mainly to help out with vehicle shortages not too long ago this was once allocated to Chester-le-Street depot but changes happened and this went to Washington for the same purpose to do the Whey Aye Five 0 5/50/50A seen here in Durham making a very rare appearance on Service 14 to Langley Park in place of a corporate vehicle

This well is used to inject the protein source — whey powder — for microorganisms in an in situ bio-remediation process.

Workers at the Idaho site have enlisted microbes to help remediate previously contaminated groundwater and advance the protection of the Snake River Plain Aquifer.
The microbes in the aquifer are fed a mixture of sodium lactate and whey powder, a common ingredient found in sport protein drinks.
“The microbes eat it, and in the process break down trichloroethylene (TCE). Although TCE is a carcinogen, the end products are harmless,” said Lorie Cahn, environmental lead for Environmental Restoration (ER) and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) at CH2M-WG Idaho (CWI), the Idaho site’s main cleanup contractor.

Goat cheese "from scratch". We used rennet and starter culture from New England Cheesemaking Supply along with local, legal (hence soft cheese) milk. The cheese seems really, really good. It's not grassy but still has the goat cheese punch. Next on the list to try: feta.
(Unless someone is keeping water buffalo in the area. I want real mozerella. Alas, raw milk is illegal to trade in this area, so there would be no photos should that ever happen. sigh.)

Most of the cut curd has been ladled out of the whey into a smaller bowl for heating and kneeding. Whey from cow's milk is decidedly yellow-green in color.
The curd has almost no structure at this stage and must be handled gently.

Surfs up for the Whey Aye Five 0 there is a reason why these are allocated today its mainly cause of the roadworks on the diverted Red Arrows X1 and therefore double deckers won't be required due to low bridge seen here in Gateshead on Red Arrows Service X1 to Newcastle
