I really wanted to do something with this shot... I just wasn't really sure. I really liked the reflection that was captured in the original shot and I decided I needed to figure out something. I decided to do some pretty heavy PP work, rough it up with a texture a bit... see what I could do. I really like the way it turned out. My girlfriend and I took this last summer at an abandoned house... Its just been laying dormant all this time. Thanks for checking it out.

Everything you know about cardio is about to change. You’re about to discover the truth about 5 cardio workouts to burn fat and lose more belly fat in less workout time. Let’s start by looking at the old, outdated way of burning fat.
Cardio Workout #1 to burn fat: Slow cardio
The first cardio workout to burn fat is “Old School Cardio”. For years, we’ve been fooled into thinking that we need long, slow, boring cardio workouts to burn fat. However, too many men and women slave away on the cardio machines for 40, 60 and even 90 minutes per workout without burning fat. How is this possible?
To be honest, I don’t know exactly why it doesn’t work, but two recent research studies found that women doing 40-60 minutes of low intensity cardio, 3-5 days per week, did not lose belly fat after at least 12 weeks of cardio. Based on those results, slow cardio is not one of the best cardio workouts to burn fat.
In fact, in one of those studies, researchers tested high-intensity cardio, and found that high-intensity cardio was able to burn fat.
Cardio Workout #2 to burn fat: High-intensity cardio
The only problem is that high-intensity cardio requires you to work as hard as you can until you burn at least 400 calories in a workout. That will take you at least 40 minutes – so while this is one of the better cardio workouts to burn fat, it’s still not the best.
A better approach is to use interval training. This is the third cardio workout to burn fat.

What is wrong with the nutritional supplement industry?
Here’s what’s wrong with the Nutritional Supplement industry. A full-page ad in my Sunday paper touted the HCG Solution weight loss breakthrough. I have never see a more cleverly crafted ad in my life. First of all, there is a question mark after “weight loss breakthrough?” indicating that it might be a scam, but what the heck, read on. Then they talk about all the other oral HCG scams, noting that “almost every expert will say either, ‘absolutely not,’ or ‘the reduced calorie diet plan caused the weight loss…” concluding that, “tens of thousands of men and women swear by it… just ask your friends.”
So what do we have so far? Only that oral HCG products are probably a scam, but somehow THIS oral HCG product is different/ better. How? Here’s paragraph 2:
“But if you’re going to try an oral formula and see what all the fuss is about, make sure the formula you choose is processed according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and made in the USA.”
COMMENT: Since they do not provide a SHRED of reliable scientific support for their product, they are basically saying, “Hey, if you’re going to spend money on a worthless product, AT LEAST buy a worthless product made in the USA.”
What is in this product? This is where deception becomes an art. This product contains “the full spectrum of human chorionic gonadotropin amino acid isolates.”
Take a deep breath. You need to understand how incredibly misleading this is. HCG is a hormone produced in the placenta during pregnancy that helps regulate embryo development.
In a pregnant woman, HCG may alter fuel selection, favoring the burning of fat to maintain steady blood sugar levels for the fetus. But tested against a placebo, HCG injections haven’t shown any significant advantage. So if INJECTING this hormone has produced inconclusive results, how can oral tablets, capsules or liquids produce any possible weight loss benefit? They can’t. The whole thing – the multi-million dollar industry is one giant scam.
It gets worse. Perhaps you are impressed that the product provides the “full spectrum of human chorionic gonadotropin amino acids.” But let’s say you wanted to buy a new car, and saw an ad for a 2012 BMW 750 for only $10,000. You are told that it will be delivered the NEXT DAY. And when you eagerly await the auto transport truck, you are surprised to see a UPS semi drive up and deliver 600 boxes, each containing parts needed to assemble a BMW 750.
THAT is the deception here. You are more likely to assemble your own BMW than your body miraculously assemble these amino acids into a hormone normally produced only by pregnant women.

Colour: maroon/brown/reddish coloured and flaked red pattern with different brightness, the stone has smal flaked green inclusions in different sizes, sometimes huge areas of green sprayed colour, sometimes glass like green inclusion or layers go thru the stone (visible in the corner of this stone)
Maroon/brown/reddish coloured, a very fine and dense stone, its hard to lap in comparison to other slate type stones. It leaves a mirror-finish on the bevel beginning after several strokes..there are several stones around beeing named "Vosges/Vosgenienne/Vosgesienne" which might appear differently then this one.
Also the term "brown escher / brown thuringian" was created to describe a fine stone being comparable in its properties to older thuringian stones. These stones shown here are not in line with the term created by Sham (HIBUDL) as "Brown Turingians" because this term was mentioned to describe the french stones which are labelled and named as "La Lune marque F.G.B.C. by Ghelfi & Birolleau" or "Special Stone for Good Razors" with their stamps (fine, very fine, extra fine) sold by Manufrance (MF).
When these stones are shown often there is a discussion coming up if we talk about:
1. a purple variant of the Llyn Melynllyn (aka Yellowlake Stone, labelled "Salmens Natural Oilstone" or "Genuine Yellow Lake Oilstone)
2. a Vermont Slate mottled green/reddish, mostly used for rooftops
3. or a Vosges / Vosgienne stone
The difference between those comparable stones in their appearance of colour and the patterns can only be done by really testing the stone in its properties. Some identifiers are:
Vosges / Vosgienne:
many smaller and bigger flaked green spots and areas, a stone with fast cutting properties
Llyn Melynllyn aka Yellow Lake:
sometimes green spots, sometimes only one or two round or squashed oval green spots

1. very dense and hard slate stone
2. flaked light green/greenisch inclusions in different sizes
3. fast cutting abilities due it is a very fine finishing stone
4. usable with oil and also with water, oil is preferred create a nice edge
5. beeing lapped a violet/brown slurry arises
6. Glass like green inclusions go thu the stone in form of flecks or layers

I have no more notches to go for a belt that has lasted me for about 5 years. If you look you can see that the 1st and 2nd notches were the ones that I always used with this belt.... also, these shorts fit a LOT better since I last wore them (about 1 1/2 months ago) I started trying to lose weight on 6/15/2010. The trees around Cathedral Park felt the weight of a whole bunch of snow a couple weeks ago. Some trees, like the ones on the right, are meant handle the extra weight. Their limbs get covered and sag, but they remain intact. Others have branches that are strong but more rigid. They hold up for a time, but as snow loads up they fail and fail spectacularly.
Portland's infrastructure is a like a rigid branched tree. A little bit of snow fall is all right, but when it really starts coming down that's when it fails....and fails spectacularly. Businesses close down, cars are abandoned, grocery stores start running out of food items, home improvement stores sell their entire stock of shovels. What we were left with was frozen snow pack, rut filled roads and a lot of broken branches.
The positive side is that snow storms like this allow you to see the city as it's rarely seen, under a fluffy white blanket of snow. With my job being located at the top of a hill, I didn't go to work for four days. It was by my choice, but it did allow my to explore the city a bit and capture it's beauty.
