Blue hour on the We Go at Mount Juliet, Tennessee. Within a few minutes this train highballed back to downtown Nashville.
WeGo Music City Star train 151 has just ducked under Lebanon Pike as it slows to make its stop at Donelson Station. 151 operates Monday through Friday on a tight 37-minute schedule between Riverfront Station in downtown Nashville and Mount Juliet. The train will go in Donelson Siding after its station stop to meet inbound train 152.
The Star began operations between Nashville and Lebanon in September 2006 using the tracks of the Nashville & Eastern. Currently the Star operates eight round trips between Lebanon and Nashville and two between Mount Juliet in Nashville Mondays through Fridays. Special trains are also operated for all Tennessee Titans home games, CMA Fest, and Nashville's New Year's Eve Celebration.

Fell in love with the design of this toy a long time ago and always wanted one (the 1/12 scale) but it was just so expensive haha :P

Build notes:
Started out as a chunky clunky version then got streamlined into what the body is now but was a solid build (no cockpit and gimmicks). Fellow LEGO mech builder Bert Seguinal gave me some tips when he visited and decided to rebuild the whole thing ground up while adding a minifig compartment inside (what it currently is).
While the build isn't a 100% accurate build, my priority was getting the curves right and using that 4x4 dome for the top. The eye idea actually came from Jan LEGO but he used a different orientation for the eyes (mine look angled although his version was more accurate to the toy - looking straight).

It (back in May 2019) has been a very busy and exciting weekend. My English friends John and Greg came back to Toronto on their sixth visit and they are very generous to treat me to a weekend getaway in Niagara-on-the-Lake and Hamilton (Ontario).

One of the shuttle buses taking visitors to the attractions on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. For many years, Routemaster buses bought second-hand from London Transport provided a tourist shuttle service, but these have sadly gone.

WeGo 152 is about to arrive at Riverfront Station in downtown Nashville with cab car 795 leading and NRTX 381/NRTX 121 pushing.
The Niagara Falls region has a number of interesting tourist attractions that scatter over a stretch along the Niagara River. Visitors wanting to see them can drive to these places on their own, but can also park their cars in one place for the whole day, and buy a separate WEGO pass and rely on the shuttle bus service.
Partial quote from Wikipedia:
"WEGO Visitor Transportation System (WEGO) is a bus system in Niagara Falls, Ontario jointly operated by Niagara Falls Transit and the Niagara Parks Commission. It replaced Niagara Falls Transit's Falls Shuttle, as well as the Niagara Parks Commission People Mover."
Two F40s lead a WeGo Star commuter east through the western side of Lebanon. In just a few miles, the crew will tie down their train and wait for the afternoon rush before heading back to Nashville.
This operation is fairly new, originally opening in September 2006. The service has four former Amtrak motors on their roster, with 381 being the only unit to retain its original road number. The passenger equipment was originally built for the Burlington's Chicago commuter services, and were acquired in 2020 from MiTrain.
