Trackworkers labored over the weekend to restore the roadbed along the B/C line between 110th and 103rd Street, replacing the old roadbed with newly poured concrete, new rails and new track hardware. Once completed, the improvements to the roadbed will provide a smoother, quieter ride through the area. This photo shows track supervisors eyeing the rail to make sure the track is straight. If there's one event you must always consider going to then it has to be the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust's Annual Open Weekend in October. It's an extremely well run and family friendly event with around 180 vehicles to see and enjoy. There are two frequent bus routes to sample the buses plus six themed tours involving up to five vehicles on each. The event is very popular with enthusiasts from far and wide attracting many, like myself, from the south of England!
Anyway, here's a selection of my photos from the weekend, including a few I snapped on the Friday before the event. Well done team GVVT, your sterling efforts are appreciated by many!
Me many years ago in my raw silk wrap black dress. In my mid 20s i started going out a lot at night. I didn't go to the TG venues but rather liked going to upscale cocktail lounges, piano bars, and singles mixer parties. It was good way to practice my public image and femininity with mannerisms, social graces, and how to dress classy. I liked dresses like this and some of the shorter cocktail dresses too. I loved wearing silky stockings over my freshly shaved smooth legs, sometimes wearing stockings with garter belt or maybe attached to a satin waist cincher or corset usually black sheer of nude. It was also a turn on for the men I would meet and loved hearing compliments on my legs and stockings! I also made sure I kept my hands soft and feminine look (for obvious reasons) and favored keep my nails long and natural mostly using red shiny nail polishes I think another turn on for men (for obvious reasons)! In makeup I was getting quite good and also favored red lipstick matching my nails. One woman said me to me that men like seeing red shiny nails in action and I guess that was true! It was so nice going out to these places and having men take interest in buying me a drink, or dancing, or just having conversations.

Students and their families enjoyed many activities during Family Weekend including academic discussions, the annual concert in Colton Chapel, the Legacy Dinner, a picnic on the Quad, and the football game against Princeton at Fisher Stadium. Families were also able to meet with President Alison Byerly during her Family Weekend address and reception.
