New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R46 no. 5660 (Pullman-Standard, 1975-1978) is the lead motor on a southbound Q train seen approaching Ocean Pkwy station, passing R68 B trains laid up for the weekend on the middle track.
I usually buy snacks for the weekend. Found this sidewalk vendor in a condominium close-by selling all sorts of snacks for a very reasonable price.

We're lacking a bit of snow in the Alaska Range. It's still a beautiful place to be even if there was no skiing or snowshoeing to do over the weekend. Had a nice hike in the mountains.

On the Saturday evening we rounded off the weekend with a dinner in the west end at Zizzi's. All 5 of us Sarah, Emma, Karen, Pula and myself had a wonderful italian meal enjoying each other's company. The staff were wonderful and this was a fitting end to a wonderful weekend.
Had a father and son weekend which was fantastic. He asked me what I used to do for fun when I was young. I told him about the days where we use to swing around on the old clothes line. He mentioned that he wished he could give it a try. So, why not?
