Week 32 - Landscape: Colorful
Shoot a landscape that packs as much color as you can find into the scene.
I came across this lovely field of poppies; cornflowers & other yellow & white flowers in a field whilst trying to find a suitable shot of a landscape with colour, so this is the best I can do for this weeks theme.
CC welcome.
So this is technicaly wrong, but i got back from holiday on Thursday and the weather had been bad since monday so i hadn't done much shooting, so i just used one from my holiday even if it was technicaly taken the week before!
Don't be mad!
But yeah, this week will be bad awful as my camera has been sent in for repair :( So i will be using my little handheld camera!
Week 32/52, 2016
This week’s theme for my 52 project is “Framed.” The goal was to focus on the way you frame your photo. Unfortunately, I ended up back in the hospital for a good portion of the week for this theme. It was a relatively short stay — I was only there for three nights. However, I didn’t get a chance to take any photos during the week other than this one. It does seem to fit with the theme, though.
HDR is the technique of combining several photos of the same scene but shot at different exposures to create an image with a High Dynamic Range.
I was in Florida a few weeks ago and took some great HDR photos. This week I had a hard time finding a location for a shoot. This didn't turn out quite like I hoped it would but still looks OK. HDR photos are fun to shoot but the technique does not work everywhere.
Bringing Lavender plants into your garden means a pleasant, calming fragrance and a gentle purple colour.
The rain stopped just long enough to allow me enjoy my lavender. And here it is ;)
I wear a bow tie now; bow ties are cool.

Not sure if she was called South Beach, it has been a while since I got her and I am lousy at remembering names. There is no doubt that she is pretty though ... it is such a pity that Mattel discontinued this line.
Watching this female mallard creating ripples in the lake I thought it would fit the week 32 challenge "In Motion". Tweaked it in Topaz adjust for Sliders Sunday.

Sometimes I can be really forgetful, and I am sure that if it wasn't attached I really would forget my own head!
Created from two shots, one of me leaving through the door, the other of me lying on the mat, merged together, the unwanted body parts rubbed out and a little touching up done using Photoshop.
Little Mindy is still not very happy with having no sisters yet...even though I tried to cheer her up with my new Vanilla Kuma, which she will not give back now....so I better look into getting her a friend or sister soon ^_^
I have to say that rubbish such as this always makes me a little angry!! I can never understand why anyone would just throw plastic bottles and the like onto the road or pavements!!

There are loads of cacti all over Las Palmas but I did manage to catch a close-up shot of this one when going out for my walk, this morning!
Wouldn't want to trip over and fall onto this one!!

It wasn't a great week for me, and I'm in the process of riding out some photo burnout, so I really didn't put the effort into this week's shot that I should have.

Week 32Vision: The Alphabet
Alphabet photography involves taking photographs of existing or created objects to create a word.
Another great day hiking! Beautiful views, scenery and some great company. We live in such a beautiful place. We came across this "cabin in the woods" on our hike. Someone put a lot of effort into building it. Sadly it's been unused a long time and been left to the elements. This window provided a great photo for this weeks theme!!
I have several pairs of cuff links but I don't often wear them these days. This pair was made for me by my wife. She was keen on all sorts of crafts and had a little enamelling kiln. She bought the swivel mounts and the copper squares, enamelled the design and then soldered the pieces together.
The Flickr Lounge group has chosen Minimalist Photography for the weekend theme in week 32 of 2025.
