The camera had a horrible problem with noise at even moderate iso. I turned that weakness into a strength by using it to create this old timey look reminiscent of Weegee in photos from a vintage wear party.

 

The images are 100% in camera without any post processing.

 

Cocktails and shuffleboard with what I found out was the crew of "The Pink Hotel" at Weegee's Lounge. What a great night!

Another repost of an old photo, with a bit of contrast enhancement and toning. Great photographers do this kind of thing all the time - Weegee basically only ever took one photo, but kept reposting it to Flickr with minor Photoshop adjustments.

 

Well, that's what I've heard.

The images are 100% in camera without any post processing.

 

On this series of shots I tryed to use the concept of "Rembrandt Light" used by Weegee, so that the subject is highlighted. The results are not optimal, as I used the build in flash.
