This image was, in some ways, a complete surprise. I strongly resembles what one sees on a winger day when the snow has, in one way or another, piled up differently on different surfaces. Through the snow we see all kinds of weeds (or native plants, if you prefer) that have lost their leaves and their color. Some of the weeds will last all winter until they rot in the spring. I grew up seeing such things in Illinois, but I have to assume it is more or less the same everywhere. If you squint just a bit you can see this picture here. There is probably a rabbit hiding somewhere near by.
For 121 Pictures in 2021 #108 "Weeds/wildflowers", these flowers are growing on a dune on Padre Island in Corpus Christi. The Big Freeze in February killed off much of the vegetation holding the dunes in place, but some are coming back. In the meantime the dunes have been somewhat eroded by the extremely windy conditions we've been having, and the blowing sand is drifting up blocking the beach "road" in some areas.

This church has a notice outside saying 'we apologise for the weeds, we are feeding the bees :)' which I thought was really lovely and the weeds actually look beautiful with this tree. Thought I'd better post this before the moment for blossom photos passes, a week later and it's all gone!
Went out the other morning in my garden to take some pictures but could only find weeds on my lawn to shoot. I thought this was interesting with the ice on the grass weeds. I now see weeds in a different light since I started taking pictures. I don't know if grass weeds have any merit but it was all I could find...sorry
Weeds grow faster than any other plant.💦
