Since it is 104 in my backyard today, I am posting some pictures of my trip earlier this winter to the Lower Klamath area where it was nice and cold! Here a UP manifest runs along US 97 on the way to Weed California from Klamath Falls Oregon

Just a small weed growing amongst the stones.

I don't have a gardener, because I enjoy pulling weeds. It's hard to explain, but there is something fulfilling about pulling out a weed and knowing that you got all the roots.
The Sea Rats pirates have a little weed plantation in the Bastion. They have some huge weeds growing in the rows of grass. Built for the Eurobricks Brethren of the Brick Seas
After a heavy rain a few minutes prior, a break in the clouds finds two CORP GP38s tied down at Weed. Tomorrow morning they will take the loads tied up behind them to Hornbrook, and and return with empties.
Asclepias tuberosa - Butterfly Weed
is a species of milkweed native to eastern North America. It is a perennial plant growing to 0.3–1 metre tall, from early summer to early autumn. Long-lasting clusters of small, flat-topped flowers are crowned with clustered orange or yellow flowers, sun-kissed "corona" and bloom from June through August.
