Thankfully this was in a neighbor's yard, so I can consider it a flower. :-)

This lantana is a weed. It grows much bigger than the one used in gardens and has very prickly stems. I do like the combination of pink and yellow flowers with the green leaves though.

Please follow me and I will follow you if you like my B&W photos, I am not the best photographer as I take most of my shots from my wheelchair so I cannot get into the best places/positions to take a photo but I try my best. Lee.

clue : #17 a weed is just an unloved wildflower. Let's make them the stars for once

Be darned if I know what these seeds are from. Weeds, but maybe not under different circumstances, grown from seeds dropped or rejected by birds at the feeder.

This delightful splash of yellow is called Sneezeweed, it grows wild... most would consider it a weed but it was once used to induce sneezing because they thought that would rid the body of evil spirits. Kinda interesting the things we have conjured over time.

Shot for Flickr Monthly Scavenger Hunt--Beauty Is In The Eye of the Beholder. A dandelion is certainly seen as a weed by most.

Is there really a need for weed control? See the beauty even of the smallest plants.

Ok, let’s start with it’s a plant as we will all agree on that. Personally I quite like the colour of the flower too, however I did not plant or sow this myself, but I did let it grow in the garden. For me it’s a weed as I do tend to dig up these plants but usually let the odd one or two have space because of the colour of the flower.

Thanks for stopping
