Taken during mine and my fiancée's recent visit to Lumley Castle of which we ended up deciding on it being the perfect venue for our wedding day. Lumley Castle is a Castle/Hotel and is just magical. We visited many possible venues around the North and nowhere had the same effect on us as lovely Lumley. Taken in the Library Room, a lovely little room to grab a coffee and relax.

The Drugan's Castle Mound outdoor wedding venue, setup for a summer wedding. You'll never forget your wedding celebration, neither will your family and guests.
This old house is mainly used for wedding receptions but there is a nice old cafe attached. My niece was married here a few years ago. The gardener kindly moved her little tractor away from the main gates.

Went to the Red Door for an anniversary dinner with 4 people. On arrival I was met by Peter, who got us our drinks, showed us the menu, our seats and the specials. The food was excellent and afterwards we had drinks at the bar and there was live music, which was a bonus. Peter the barman gave us a good laugh, he was there until the end of the night and sorted out taxis for us - I can see he is a great asset to the business. Like I said, the food was excellent and the location was perfect. In general, the staff were very friendly and I would definitely recommend the Red Door to others.
