This Grade 2 listed building has two rooms licenced for weddings in addition to housing the local Council offices

Our nephew was married this past weekend on a unique venue called Butler Farm in rural Tennessee. Here is one of several photos I took of the venue. I put a photo of the "s'more..." sign in the first comment.

Once again it was an honor to be apart of your big day and capture these moments that'll last you a lifetime. Admittedly I was a bit nervous stepping out of my comfort zone. This was my first wedding. I'm not use to photographing more than one subject at a time. Let alone being in front of crowds of people. Photography will always be my passion. When I hold that camera to my face, and look through that viewfinder I suddenly feel normal like I'm not suffering from a debilitating pain. My passion for photography keeps me pushing on from the pain that I've been marred by. For now I live to capture the stories of the lives that have lived them. As well for the eyes that never lived them. To all those that have showed me support and shared words of encouragement thank you.

Cloud Gate is British artist Anish Kapoor's first public outdoor work installed in the United States.
The 110-ton elliptical sculpture is forged of a seamless series of 168 stainless steel plates welded together, its highly polished exterior has no visible seams, which reflect Chicago’s famous skyline and the clouds above. A 12-foot-high arch provides a "gate" to the concave chamber beneath the sculpture, inviting visitors to touch its mirror-like surface and see their image reflected back from a variety of perspectives. The Bean because of its shape, measures 33 by 66 by 42 feet (10 by 20 by 13 m).

This was part of the view at the venue for my daughter's wedding a couple weeks ago. It was such a spectacular view! ...and yes, the wedding was far more beautiful! It really turned out nice! What a beautiful day! This is in Stevenson, WA, located just above the Columbia River Gorge on the WA side. Fabulous location! Hope you enjoy!

The former late-Victorian era Dairy at Waddesdon Manor, Buckinghamshire, now used as a wedding venue, is normally closed to general visitors. However, the National Trust are currently offering one-hour guided tours of this extraordinary 'Wedding Cake', an installation by Joana Vasconselos, that include the beautiful buildings, lake and grounds of the whole venue. Entirely covered in Portuguese ceramics, the huge three-tier 'cake' is a barely-believable delight that can be entered and climbed to its top.
Waddesdon Manor was itself very much a confection for people who had serious money and endless time to spend on idle amusements. The former Dairy was one such amusement on the estate: not a genuine farm but simply one where guests could choose their favourite cow - each was identified by name - and then be served with that specific cow's products (milk, cheese etc) during their stay at the Manor.

... a venue for luxury weddings, the 400 acre estate (400 years old and site of battle in the 1798 rebellion) has recently opened to the public. The House dates from 1795.
Number 1 in my allocatedtheme for this week Fortifications. The remains of Bramber Castle a Norman motte and bailey castle in Bramber, West Sussex, UK taken on a soft misty day in 2017.
Walking around Stourhead it soon became apparent that there was a wedding taking place - just as I was leaving I had an opportunity to take some sneaky shots - if anyone knows the bride and groom, please feel free to pass these images on.
Anthony Chapel is a place that blipped my radar recently as I've been seeing more and more mentions of the place online. I didn't realize it was here in Arkansas, much less in a city I would be visiting anyway, Hot Springs, so there I went, with my camera...
Made of local wood, with its 57-foot ceilings, soaring windows, it is a masterpiece of Maurice Jennings and design partner Fay Jones that rivals a well celebrated collaboration of theirs, Thorncrown Chapel. The chapel hosts some 175 weddings a year - an average of more than three per week. It was truly a cool spot to check out and definitely unique in terms of what I've shot with my camera.

Despite the cold strong winds and snowy weather conditions I found this trip quite liberating especially with no one about.
I could have easily stayed in my cosy warm home but as a passionate landscape photographer who has a vision and enjoys a challenge I decided to go for it. Once you step out it’s never as bad as you thought and soon start enjoying the whole experience.
*Please note that I took the series of shots from the perimeter of the protected ancient wood treading carefully to avoiding touching the mossy boulders.
