Normanby Hall is a classical English mansion, located 5 miles (8.0 km) north of Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire.
The present Hall was built in 1825–30 for Sir Robert Sheffield (1786–1862), whose family had lived on the site since 1539. It replaced a previous 17th century building. The family moved out of Normanby Hall in 1963. The Hall is now in the care of the North Lincolnshire Council. The former 350 acre (1.4 km²) estate around the Hall is now a Country Park. Within it, there are a restored working Victorian walled garden, a farming museum, a stableyard, duck ponds, a deer sanctuary, a fishing lake, a miniature railway and broadleaf woodland.

I can die a VERY happy cake woman today. I met Mike McCarey, Debbie Brown, Norman Davis, and Kerry VIncent to name a few! I also saw, Ashley Vicos, Nicholas Lodge, and Brenda from The Cake Girls wondering around. Wouldn't you know my camera died right after this picture was taken. Elizabeth took a few more. Can't wait to see her photos!!

Georgina Campbell's Review
Although the building and setting will be familiar to returning diners – and fans will be glad to find that the little old-fashioned bar at the side, and its open fire, are still there - the new owners have done a major interior revamp and landscaped the gardens. And, of course, there is a welcoming red door.
With bay windows everywhere and bevelled glass doors, the building is bright and the rooms have interesting shapes (also open fires, although all are gas except for the bar); each room is named according to the décor or character – The Willow Room, The Violet Room, The View, The Red Room - and there’s a covered refuge for smokers.
All round, a meal here should be a very enjoyable outing - it’s a beautiful place, the food is pleasing and, under the direction of Restaurant Manager Frances Doherty, the lovely staff are efficient, and very attentive.
