A friend has asked me to shoot a wedding with him at the end of July so today we met with the prospective bride and groom to discuss their plans. A lovely, friendly couple, we had an enjoyable afternoon visiting the church and the reception venue, putting together some ideas and playing around with some test shots.
Mum and piglet live happily in the grounds of the reception venue which used to be a disused pig farm (hence the sculpture I suspect). They gave me an idea for a quirky photo opportunity too so we had a bit of fun trying out different poses.

On the morning of the wedding we hauled supplies and helped set up the reception hall (at the Celtic Junction).
We went on a road trip for about two weeks in the last half of September. We drove from Salt Spring Island, BC in Canada to Minneapolis, MN in the USA, via Maple Ridge, Saskatoon and Winnipeg on the way there and adding a stop in Kamloops on the way back. We had a friend's wedding to attend in Mpls and did much visiting of family and friends during the trip.
