In preparing for the wedding day I was able to spend some much needed alone time with my wife. As she stood in front of the bedroom window overlooking Istanbul, arranging supplies and decorations for the bride who would soon be getting ready, I decided to take this photograph.
My dearest Leah - she is my best friend and my long term partner in crime (the legal kinds); she is the supporter and financial arranger; the humour and the sass. She is my wife, and I am so very proud of her. Here's to a year and six months of marriage. May we have many more.

Britt and I went shopping for her wedding dress tonight. I can't believe my little girl is grown up. I think she found one she liked, but there is more searching in the near future for the perfect dress for her. She's already a stunning bride-to-be.
