Some things remain a mystery though, so it's hard to tell what's really going on. The economy has been "recovering" much slower than historically. Why is that? Job growth has been very anemic, and the only reason the unemployment rate isn't worse is because so many people have left the labor force altogether. Is that natural for this moment in history, or is it a result of the weak economy or government policy? During the Reagan recovery of the 80's, they'd have like 800,000 new jobs created a month. Nowadays we're lucky to break, even though the population of workers and jobs is substantially larger by now.Meanwhile the continued fiscal deficits since took office are huge and unprecedented, and there's no sign of them ending. (And you also have to put blame on the tail end of the Bush administration if we blame presidents, but the problem continues after 4 years of.). RIGHT NOW the debt is manageable, but if we don't contain it someday that will become a problem. Little remembered fact is that Bush NEARLY had achieved a balanced budget by the end of 2007 ... so how come just a few years later we're unable to reduce the deficit below $1 trillion, year after year?There is an old saying that begins with a question: How do you tell if what is going on is a recession or a depression? Easy. When the other guy is unemployed, it is a recession. When you are unemployed, it is a depression. At this moment in time, whether we are in good or bad times is in the eye of the beholder. To an auto worker, it is boom times. The industry is having a great year. To a home builder, it is a depression. The market is stagnant. As for the rest of us, it goes to the question I asked. Are you employed or unemployed. The answer will be directly related to personal status.Optimism is rising. Check the graphs for that. Buying is beginning to increase in major areas of the economy. Only for the Tea Party are things terrible even while they sit in their mansions in relative comfort. They want out of office and no matter how good things get, they will see the world as a mess until the get their goal or get dumped by the tides of history.

I have been through it all and know what's it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can't be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I've worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can't eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Dosome cardio, in the long run, it's good for the heart.However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It's so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I've found a great addition to help any one out, it's a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don't get all crazy on me and say diet pills don't work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn't meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It's an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace dot com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it's the best pill I've tried and I've tried cupboards full. Now this doesn't mean you have to follow my foot steps but I've successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.Now just create some good meals-nothing limits you but your imagination! You've got all the goodies to do it.You can make your dinners ahead of time,put in ziploc bags or individual serving trays and freeze for convenience.For instance, I usually cook a couple of bags of frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts and freeze some,chop some up to make chicken salad and cube some for chicken soup. Be creative and you can be eating healthy and losing weight in no time! And don't forget to walk! Good luck.Most recently I was on Nutrisystem from Sept 2007 thru April 2008. I started at 250 lbs with a goal to get below 180. I reached that goal a few weeks ago following the Nutrisystem program very closely. So for me it really worked. Now I'm following their maintenance guidelines and trying to lose a few more pounds with real food and that's worked so far too, I'm 3 pounds below my Nutrisystem goal.They have lots of discussion boards for members and I've seen people who have been even more successful than me and others who have not been nearly as successful. So unfortunately, your own individual mileage may vary.I suggest you consider the factors that personally have made you gain weight and/or fail to lose it.....Since Nutrisystem provides the vast majority of the food you should eat while on the program, if making food selections and the portion sizes have been a problem for you, I'd say Nutrisystem is good. If you are comfortable with online communities and forums and you've struggled not having people to share your journey, help and support you on the way, Nutrisystem is good. I've been supporting and getting support from alot of people there who are trying to do the same thing as I am (and others who are helping based on their past success).The structure was very key for me. I knew exactly what I could and could not have to be following the program (and always had the food in the house so I couldnt justify a fast food stop because there was nothing to make in the house). But the structure will only help if you are committed to following what the structure tells you to do. If you cant resist the temptations to cheat, then just doing any program wont work (cause if you cheat, you are not really doing it). OK, you can cheat once in a blue moon, but not often and you have to get right back to the program quickly so you dont fall into old bad habits.

Lighting:
- SB-600 camera right and up high into 32" shoot-through brolly triggered using CLS. 1/16 power.
- SB-800 as Master/Commander on camera shooting straight up set to 1/128 power.
Originally setup a gridded YongNuo YN-460 on a very low power setting to camera left on the same surface as the iPhone. But removed it in the end. No, I don't need all those strobes, but heck sometimes it feels good pulling 'em all out ;)

Brought an iPhone just before Christmas to replace my HTC s740, which had unfortunately died due to an aqua infection (er, accidental droppage into H2O). Sad to lose that phone, as I reckon it was one of the best Windows Mobile based phones.
Although I had resisted joining the iSomething crowd for quite awhile, in the end I succumbed. Mostly due to cost factors.
Although there is much upside to the iPhone, there's still a whole lot missing, And there's way too many restrictions for those who don't "jailbreak" their phones.
My most used app thus far would have to be the weather app, Pocket Weather AU Lite. Next to that would have to be TweetDeck and Facebook for iPhone. There's a few more apps installed here and there. Though I must say, I use Google Reader a heck of a lot. But then again, I used Google Reader extensively with the webkit based Iris Browser on my Windows Mobile device.
Recently installed DropBox and can see myself liking it. Why? Because I can upload up to 2GB of files to DropBox and then have that ready on my iPhone. Things like PDF ebooks come to mind.
However, would have preferred to be able to just put that directly onto the device rather than going through all this crap just to put it on there.
The next thing that annoys me is that I have to open up the calendar app just so I can see what is coming up. Perhaps I was too spoilt by Windows Mobile having the upcoming events listed on the "home" screen.
It's still a bit weird not having a physical keyboard, but i'm slowly adjusting to it.
I guess having come from 2 generations of "smart" phones (though both non-touch based), I came to the iPhone expecting more from it than it does. Whilst there are things that it does great, there's many many areas where it fails or even over-hyped by some. For example, I hate that 3rd party apps can't stay opened in the background. So let's say you've got an app that is streaming music over wifi, normally you'd expect to be able to "minimise it"/"sent to background" and do something else. Unfortunately the only way to have music playing in the background is to use the "iPod" app. Ah well, them's the breaks I guess.
Buyer's remorse? Well, not too much. I knew it's limitations pre-purchase, but still pulled the trigger anyway.
If Windows Mobile 7 is anywhere as good as they say it is going to be and devices are out and running it at the time I needed a new phone, I probably wouldn't have gone the iPhone route. I did briefly consider an Android phone, but range was somewhat limited when I checked in store locally. Basically nothing that caught my eye.

Our servers are behind a firewall which restricts remote access to the MySQL port (3306).
If you need to connect to MySQL from a remote computer, there are two options:
Option 1:
If your account includes SSH access, you can set up an SSH tunnel to forward a port on your local computer to our MySQL server. We won't have to alter our firewall rules, and as an added bonus, the MySQL traffic will be encrypted. Please note that we use port 7822for SSH connections.
To ssh tunnel from a Mac OS X or Linux box, open a terminal and use the following:
ssh -p7822 username@example.com -L 3306:localhost:3306
(if the connection does not work with localhost, please try using 127.0.0.1)
The number before "localhost" is the port number for your end of the tunnel; the number after "localhost" is the port on our server's end of the tunnel. If you are running a local MySQL server, you might need to switch the first 3306 to something else (3307, for example). Use that port number when you want to connect to the remote MySQL on our server, and connect to 3306 to connect to your local MySQL server.
To SSH from a Windows machine, we recommend putty (Click to download ) Open Putty. In the Category pane of the application window, select the "Tunnels" option found under Connection->SSH. In the main pane, in the "Port Forwarding" section, do this:
1. By Source Port, add the port that you would like to forward (we chose 3306 for mysql). (See note above about altering the local port number in case you are running a local MySQL server)
2. By destination, type the hostname you want to connect to (most likely your web/domain name).
3. At the end of the hostname, add a colon followed by 3306, like so: localhost:3306 (the radio buttons under the destination can be left as Local and Auto)
4. Click add.
5. Click on the session in the category pane.
6. Enter the hostname your want to connect to (yourdomain.com) and the port as 7822
7. Click open and log into the session.
8. You can verify if PuTTY has set up the port forwarding correctly by looking at the PuTTY Event Log. To do this, click on the Windows icon in left corner of the menu bar in your open SSH session. There from the drop down menu select Event Log, in which you should see something to the effect of: 2007-06-13 13:22:10 Local port 3306 forwarding to localhost:3306

Click on the MySQL icon - newer versions of cPanel have a separate Remote MySQL icon
In the access hosts field, you will need to put a "%" sign.
Click the "Add Hosts" button
You should now be able to connect to port 3306 at localhost and it will be fowarded to the remote MySQL server.
