Like an acrobat dancing in the evening sun...only this is done to survive.

  

The sun was backlighting and revealing this gorgeous web and Garden Spider (Orb Weaver) so beautifully, it just had to be snapped...! ;-)

I cheated and used a star filter on my camera to get the sparkle on this dew covered spider web.

Aren't they a marvel of engineering and artistry!! Strong too! Some little spider had slung an invisible web across the path I took from the sitting room out onto the deck and I am STILL picking bits of it out of my hair and off my face!
