Went over to Matt's house for a cookout and to hang out with friends. Took a few pictures while I was there!

 

New grill for Christmas! There's more to it than just the wheel, I promise.

This is the biggest web I've ever seen, and the little spider spinning it was speeding right along. It was about 6 feet in the air, hanging off a building.

No wind, lots of dew, and backlighting made for perfect conditions for photographing the spiders and their webs that seemed to be everywhere this morning.

These seeds were caught in a spider's web above the forest floor. I used an on camera flash and then tucked a small LED light beneath the web for backlight.

I changed my mind about my photo for today. I was taking photos of spider's webs that I had sprayed with water so all the water droplets stuck to it. I originally chose a shot I did looking upwards with so you could see the blue sky behind the web, but now I think I prefer it on black.
