This is the current Dynmap view of our Minecraft Community. The state of the houses reflects their build status at the end of our first construction opportunity, during which time we also worked to get each student logged on and moving around. As a result, they had varying amounts of time for getting sorted out and starting on their build.
Subsequent to the first day's work, I took some time to widen the main street and move everyone back a bit from the roadside using World Edit. Most students will now have a bit of a front lawn again. The street now sports streetlights, so we can have night-time turned on during our next opportunity.
The plan is to build the school across the road from the main street (lower right hand corner). I've established my residence at the other end of the street (upper left hand corner).
