The Maxim gun was the first self-powered machine gun, invented by the American-born British inventor Sir Hiram Stevens Maxim in 1884. It has been called "the weapon most associated with British imperial conquest".
Maxim established the Maxim Gun Company with financing from Albert Vickers, son of steel entrepreneur Edward Vickers. A blue plaque on the Factory where Maxim invented and produced the gun is to be found in Hatton Garden at the junction with Clerkenwell Road in London.

Je suis Paris: London has not struck at Islamic State yet in Syria, although British Prime Minister David Cameron said to be eager to take that step, he faces resistance from U.K lawmakers. When will anyone facing the real problem? Where does ISIS get its manpower, weaponry and money? Looks like Turkey is the major conduit to get ISIS and other terrorists going, Qatar and KSA to provide funding and weapons. With the US, UK, France and others providing weapons to 'moderate' terrorist in Syria, these moderates continue to funnel the received equipment to ISIS and Nusra-Qaeda. You do not stop terrorism of this sort without cutting their supplies.

Private collection of old weapons - paid entry.
Here is the weapons shop without the minifigs. I enjoyed experimenting with different wall textures and shelving. Could have added some more blasters/weapons, but I like the minimalist look.
Hey guys, I thought I post up pictures of Will's new WWII-era Russian weapons that he was kind enough to give to me for our WWII animation contest as additional prizes.
These weapons show the natural progression Will has continued to show with his weapons. Each one is accurate, interesting and most important has character. -JD

Brahmos Weapon System displayed at Aero-India show 2019 in Bengaluru.
The BrahMos is a medium-range ramjet supersonic cruise missile that can be launched from submarine, ships, aircraft, or land. It is the fastest cruise missile in the world. It is a joint venture between the Russian Federation's NPO Mashinostroyeniya and India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). It is based on the Russian P-800 Oniks cruise missile and other similar sea-skimming Russian cruise missile technology. The name BrahMos is a portmanteau formed from the names of two rivers, the Brahmaputra of India and the Moskva of Russia.

The reason for the increase in the use of child soldiers is also due to the nature of modern warfare : most of today 's armed conflicts are civil wars.We know so little about modern war and we are so excluded by the powers-that-be that without the commitment and professionalism of journalists we would know nothing.

I gotta speak and you want to listen up
There is no time to feast your eyes
You want it all but the world won’t give it up
Up to the edge your star will rise
What is your weapon of choice,
What's your weapon of choice
There is no weapon to free us all
What is your weapon of choice,
What’s your weapon of choice
There is no weapon to free us all
I won’t waste it, I won’t waste it, I won’t waste my love on a nation
I won’t waste it, I won’t waste it, I won’t waste my love on a nation
Everyone’s got their own split factions
Every pawn will pay it’s price
I’ve been digging out in all directions
I’ll see you through to the after life
What is your weapon of choice,
What's your weapon of choice
There is no weapon to free us all
What is your weapon of choice,
What’s your weapon of choice
There is no weapon to free us all
I won’t waste it, I won’t waste it, I won’t waste my love on a nation
I won’t waste it, I won’t waste it, I won’t waste my love on a nation
It’s to hard too stand aside
It’s enough to stop your heart
I won’t waste it, I won’t waste it, I won’t waste my love on a nation
I won’t waste it, I won’t waste it, I won’t waste my love on a nation
I won’t waste it, I won’t waste it, I won’t waste my love on a nation
I won’t waste it, I won’t waste it, I won’t waste my love on a nation.
