Merry Christmas my Flickr friends and thank you for the many kind comments on my pictures this year. It always amazes me how this place has become such a big part of my life and has such an influence on my drive to become a better photographer. BIGGER is better...
In Bloomfield NJ, out in the yard the sky had a purple hue above the warm hue of the sunset to the west that I captured as I took Mr Snuggles my dog out to do his business. The crew of the historic SBB-TEE-train welcomes passengers in a most charming manner.
The train run from Lucerne via Emmental -Berne to Interlaken Ost. There we changed to a historic zb-trainset (which unfortunately missed it's historic loco) to return to Lucerne via Brünigpass.

A little while ago my dear friend Syd Specter gave me a sneak peek at a new, as yet unreleased pack of skies. It's called 'Warm Sun', I've been playing with them all week and I just have to say I am so, so impressed with the level of detail in them. The clouds are so beautifully rendered, they offer layers of depth I'm not sure I could have achieved previously without blending numerous skies together. As an artist she really does just keep getting better and better. I am a very lucky bork to have such a talented friend.
