Well it was about 60 degrees tonight and it was great not freezing my butt off with gloves on:) Its been really warm this November but it looks like this weekend snow mix fore casted.

Hace unas semanas, recibí una visita de un Master, mi colega Ramón que en su tercera juventud se vino conmigo a un hayedo a una hora prudencial, quedamos a las 5:45 :).
Llegamos de noche, cuando empezaba a abrir y el tiempo nos dio media hora de niebla que intentamos utilizar al máximo, yo había estado un para de veces antes, así que se nos facilito el trabajo.
Os dejo una de las tomas que hice, que espero que os guste.

Warm glow due to the smoke covered skies from distant wildfires. Shot on 15+ year old expired film on half frame.
The last couple days it was way too ugly outside, always cold and rainy 😩
I just had to look at some shots from warmer days🌞️
The late afternoon sun hitting Blackfriars bridge and St Paul's Cathedral from across the River Thames.
The warming weather brought this juvenile Yellow-bellied sapsucker out for some hunting at the Springfield Nature Center. This is a male from the red feathers starting to show on its throat.

Seen on Explore, highest position I've seen was 3 on Tuesday, December 11, 2007.
Now dropped altogether. Wonderous are the ways of Explore.

And now for everyone else: Winter is coming, even though quite slowly. It will probably take another month or so until we have enough snow in the Black Forest again. This photo was taken last winter on a tour with some fellow photographers which was basically a dry run for next year's workshop (see above). While this fantastic light only lasted for 30 minutes or so it was still worth it driving in the middle of the night to the top of the Schauinsland mountain near Freiburg. On that day I had another motif in mind but since it was obvious that the sun wouldn't be out for long I also took some photos on my way to the main location, an observation tower on top of the mountain. But the scenery from the tower wasn't as good as I had hoped for since the light was slowly vanishing. Which brings me back to this photo and my realization that landscape photography is all about the light.
Judging by the mucky looking snow on the ground, there are some pleasant winter temperatures on this day in Norwich, NY.
The headman Jimmy Page, (no, not the guitar extraordinaire), has lined the switch that leads to the large Victory Markets warehouse at Borden Ave. back to the main and Jim Sharpe eases Conrail GP-8 #5451 back to grab the next cut to be placed in order for the grocery company.

After an unseasonably warm day with almost a total lack of wind, when I'd finished teaching I grabbed my kit and drove to the country. I sat in a field for an hour hoping this would happen. Thanks for looking.
Jenner, CA - Sometimes I miss the west coast; listening to the waves crash on the rocks as the warm setting sun wraps your skin like a familiar blanket woven by a loved one.
I hope whoever owns that house on the rock outcropping knows how fortunate they are. Maybe they are saying, "Hahaha! In your face dolphins, we're on land!" ..or maybe not.
