A pair of pearl bordered fritillary butterflies warming up their wings on some bracken at Hailey Wood in Gloucestershire. I was fortunate to find this pair just as the sun was breaking through the clouds and managed a number of shots of them before they flew off.

While everybody else is uploading wonderful spring photos, I have here late cold winter scenes... lol

From out of Winter's shadow, I find myself warming up to Spring. At last, the Azaleas usher into a new season of life. Slowly, revealing the warmth that lies ahead. Pulling me from my slumber and back into today.

We cannot let life's burdens get the best of our dreams. Expression is a key to easing the mind and discovering important aspects within ourselves. Good morning, everyone! I have a long road ahead to catch up with everyone, but it is great to be back. Kicking off Spring with a short series of Azaleas.

Earlier this week my wife and i spend the day with a 20km walk on a spot near Schleiden in Germany. The weather was very shitty but when it was dry the butterflies open up their wings trying to catch some sunlight. We saw a lot of marbled white butterflies and just a few other species.

What Next Colonna Hot Chocolate Station 

I'm away from home more often than usual during the day at the moment as I have to help my parents. Tofu doesn't like that at all and when I return home I often find him waiting for me on the garden box at the backdoor of my garage. Today he looked quite relaxed when I found him there as he could warm up in the sunshine which is so much better than waiting in the rain. :)

My daughter Brianne warms up her horse Snoop before competing in the Keystone Classic held at the Horse Park Of New Jersey facility. Brianne adopted Snoop through the Saddlebred Rescue program and now has a pretty good life in our back yard. Snoop never competed and this was his first "Official" competition, he did just fine.

I´m not sure but this could be a Green leaf Weevil, there is some many different types that look similar and I´m not a expert, I this is the closest match I can find
