A little while back I was approached by the builder @littlefusmocdesign. He asked me if I would like to participate in a collaborative build with him and a couple others builders. The subject we were going to use as inspiration was the game Warframe. I had heard of the game and knew a couple people that had played it in the past but never really considered it to be something I would build. I started researching all the different frames and loved the variety and all the odd shaping of the armour. I was drawn to the excalibur frame for my build and started playing around with different head designs. When I eventually built a head I was happy with, I then started building the body. This was the part I changed the most throughout the build. I was constantly changing parts and trying different techniques to get the desired look I wanted for roughly 2 months. I am very happy with how the figure turned out and loved the process of the build.
I really learnt a lot from this collaboration when it comes to building figures. Especially building a sturdy structure that allows for all the different connection points for armour while maintaining the ability to pose in various positions without parts popping off. A little touch I was particularly proud of was getting the weapons to be able to connect to the figure when they aren't using them. It wasn't necessarily a difficult feature but it was a little touch I wanted to include. The spear does also connect but it requires some parts to be changed.
I also want to say thank you to @buffoon.92 for the awesome edits. They really add a lot to the builds.
I am honoured to be a part of a collaboration with so many brilliant builders. I am constantly amazed with what they are able to build. I would highly recommend checking them out. They are some really talented builders.

Built this upwards of a year ago I believe but due to its size it's rather hard to photograph. This is the Redeemer, one of my favorite weapons from Warframe. It's essentially a double-edged sword with a double-barreled shotgun built in. The model is pretty much life-size, and can be held with the help of a little optional piece that works as a sturdier grip (not shown). It's still pretty fragile overall but I'm pretty happy with how the shaping turned out as a whole.
Maybe someday I'll build some other weapons from the game but I don't know. Right after I built this I started working on a Lato but it never went anywhere.
What the hell is this? This is another big reason why I hate the new designs for Imperial personal. It seriously looks like something from that game Warframe or that bullshit poor of excuse for a video game Destiny. Both the new Imperial Gunner/Naval trooper whatever the tits it is and the Imperial officer look retarded to the core.
Good job whoever designed the new Imperial. I got over the the new stormtroopers, but this shit? lol never
Also I didn't want to focus on the new figure due to how shitty it is.
