Unfamiliar with Canary Warf, I walked around about 1.5 hours to find nice photo spots. Unfortunately the clouds on this evening blocked the sunset. So I hoped for the blue hour and a nice combination of natural and artificial light.
This point of view is south of the center of Canary Warf, looking north west. The combination of the wooden ceiling and boardwalk with the modern buildings and the reflections in the water seemed to me very interesting.
Some moderate post processing added more structure, especially to the sky and water.
Just returned from a nice trip to California to visit family. Such a beautiful place... glad I brought my camera!
The East Warf Lighthouse on Lake Hefner in Oklahoma city was based off of the second oldest lighthouse in the country located in Brant Point, MA. Even though this lighthouse does not stand on the coast, it is built to withstand the many tornados that dance across Oklahoma every year. It is functional flashing a red light pattern.
A famously historical warf on far south coast of NSW. Quite a difficult climb down the rocks to get the composition right
Went for a drive on an overcast Sunday. Stopped along the Fraser river for a minute and this tug happened along.
Ar this point in the Courtenay river the water is a mix of fresh and salt water when the tide is high, since the river empties into the Pacific ocean less than a kilometer downstream.
