A closer version of my Woodland Wander photo, this one taken a bit closer in and with slightly different editing.

Taken on my walk yesterday. One of my favourite place to go hiking.
I'm only happy when it rains
You wanna hear about my new obsession?
I'm riding high upon a deep depression
I'm only happy when it rains
Pour some misery down on me

Woodland Wanders On Latrigg
Once we had been on Latrigg and the mist had eventually covered us, we head down again but stopped at the mist filled woods.
There is almost a trend for doing these kinds of shots just now, woodland wanders on a misty morning.

It was a miserable day today but having had a nightmare week both at work and at home we decided to jump in the car and find out where we were going when we got there. in this one you can see the rain cloud running from the left to the right.
St Mary's Cathedral near Japantown in San Francisco has quite an impressive architecture. We went there in January to see Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel exhibition. We had to wait to get in, so I took the opportunity to wander around to marvel at the wonder with my camera, here reflecting on a car glass roof.
I processed a paintery, a realistic, and a photographic HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

If you can’t have mist in a woodland rain’s a very good second. In fact in these Snowdonia rain forests the wetter the better, shame about the wind. I certainly had the rain, it bleached down most of the week, horizontal stuff changing these hillside streams changed into cascades.
Of all the Dales, Wensleydale is the softest, with a broad, pastoral valley and a bucolic air about it.
I took this on Tuesday evening, just a quick wander through the woods with my little camera. Was nice just to walk and not feel any pressure at all. it hasn't come out great but its a good memory at least!
