We made a very nice walk towards the lake Offensee, Upper Austria, when i saw this beautiful mood and light.
I had only a few minutes to make this panorama, then the sun desapeared behind the mountains.
But I got it!

Thank you so much for the support and kindness....it's greatly appreciated!! Happy Monday and I hope you all have a great week! 😊
We move from point A to point B, use logic and try to plan and optimize our lives...
But from time to time we should just wander... walk, travel, dream... live and allow ourselves to be amazed by the world... enjoy the adventure and cherish every little gem we find on the road, be it a painted house in a forgotten village, or a discussion filled with simple life wisdom... with people who are kind to a stranger, even when that stranger wears a mask...

“But I look up above and see the sky
With the moon and stars capturing my eye
I know that you can see it too
Cuz no matter where you are the sky remains true”

East of Walhalla, ND. She came up through the ditch, walked across the road wandered through the field and went back the way she came. Such a beautiful creature.

From a wander up probably the Lake District's most accessible peak. Not always
the easiest to negotiate though with the
craginess of some of the sections but very
rewarding non the least. This was my second
time climbing this wee beast for sunrise in a
week, the first attempt was a non starter with
the sky getting lighter without any sign or
sight of colour from the sunrise. This time
however had some beautiful light to capture.
I hope you like.
Have a great weekend all! I'll be out of town this weekend. Hopefully I'll have access but if not, I'll see you next week :)
A closer version of my Woodland Wander photo, this one taken a bit closer in and with slightly different editing.
I'm only happy when it rains
You wanna hear about my new obsession?
I'm riding high upon a deep depression
I'm only happy when it rains
Pour some misery down on me
In 1982 I spent two days and a night in Paris. No tours, I just wandered the great city. I went to the Lourve, saw The Mona Lisa and many other great works of art. I went to Nortre Dame, Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, and walked along the Seine, where I took this picture, which epitomized my preconceived image of Paris. I had many adventures like this in those years as a young man in the Coast Guard.

...in Hardcastle Crags after clearing rain....which is most days this month.
The National Trust appear to have to 'manage' the woodland by removing large branches from the (I think wonderful) Beech trees...leaving limbless trunks standing and making for a battlefield type scene. I understand the theory...removing Beech trees allows other trees and therefore encourages wildlife. However, I remember when this valley was home to Owls, Woodpeckers, Red Squirrels and more...and that was with the Beech trees. The main reason for the depleted wildlife, is, as ever....human interference, with large numbers of visitors, dogs and farming changes.
I really enjoyed ambling through these olive grove in Corfu with their ancient trees. The trees, with they dark trunks, contrasted well with the grasses. It was quite a challenge to find a composition which would work, trying not to superimpose one tree trunk with another whilst still having somewhere for the eye to wander through! In this respect I think this is one of my favourite images.
I have to say, we won't be coming back here. Every other shop is a fish and chip shop. The drive from York took forever. And it took even longer to get back. Getting across York is a nightmare so were done with the North.
Well, the east side 😄
I'll still give west Yorkshire a chance.
Shot over the wall because it costs way too
much to wander around a load of old ruins.
Come the next Ice Age it will all be buried under a mile of ice.
It's all so transitory ....... 😮
