Sato likes having the old/new love seat up here just as much as I do. I got the couch back from my last roommate, but putting it in the garage meant we had to move the rest of the set (full set: couch, love seat, chair) *out* of the garage. So upstairs it came. Had to move the papasan out, but that's ok. This is easier.
In fact, travel during Short Term has a quality all its own. Students in German professor Dennis Sweet's interdisciplinary unit "Wake Up!" are also spending two weeks off campus, but in very different activities — such as a week-long meditation retreat and a week in the wilderness. The course is designed to provide a rigorous experiential journey to self-awareness, appreciation of nature and social engagement.
I woke up early Sunday to watch anime.
The shows I watch play at either 11 at night, or 6 am. Usually I record it, but I had to work, so I figured I may as well get up an hour early. I really like how it worked out. I think I may do that more often.
