I played around with the hue and saturation because the original image was very light in the sky area.
Here we go again. I do want to make it through 1 year, especially since I'm so close now. Not gonna say a whole lot about each of them.
This flower was all closed up and 'asleep' for the cold night, and it has dew drops on it. This was photographed when I was out for a walk with my son in the early morning. I persuaded him to come with me instead of watching morning tv, and though he really didnt want to he did. That is kindness, so when I look at this picture I remember kindness.
In fact, travel during Short Term has a quality all its own. Students in German professor Dennis Sweet's interdisciplinary unit "Wake Up!" are also spending two weeks off campus, but in very different activities — such as a week-long meditation retreat and a week in the wilderness. The course is designed to provide a rigorous experiential journey to self-awareness, appreciation of nature and social engagement.
