One of the build up events to the big meet in August. Thanks for putting this on, and please visit the site at www.wiltonclassicsupercar.co.uk or on their Facebook page.
I am awoken and caught candidly unawares by my son playing with a little itty bitty 1.3 megapixel Kodak point and shoot. Still, he got the expression right and the composition is classic college course three point...
Camilla is wearing a vintage Barbie Majorette jacket, a mystery white dress, faux-leather leggings made by me and Mattel boots.
Shot in the Philly Navy Ship Yard that is apparently celebrating 100 years of operation.
Just as the CIRY spotted battaglia the sun decided to shine for the last few miles of the run. 1209 leads 1206 east up the Kozy lead toward base.
The two Wake Up Momoko are happy in their cute dresses and matching shoes and socks.
I was not sure if to use socks or not, but considering the shoes tight fitting, I was almost convinced to not try (moreover, one of the brunette's ankle is broken and I didn't want to force the shies to fit over socks). But my mother said that they had looked better with socks. So I decided to try. It has been very hard to put the shoes over the socks! And it required a great attention to not broke the ankles (especially the brunette's glued one that could easily break again). In the end I succeded! Yeah! And my mom told they didn't look good! XD Aaarrgghh! But I won't remove them after have tried so hard to put them and make the shoes fit over them (without even breaking the glued ankle)! Moreover the black shoes with the strap look better over socks. The pink ones look fine in both ways.
I was still not sure the black ones looked good under the blue striped dress, so I decided to make a black headpiece for the blondie, maybe a black ribbon. My mom also told the black ribbon was a good idea. At least! XD
My two Wake up Momoko dolls. This is my favourite Wake up Momoko set ever! A brunette in pink and a blondie in blue: could I ask for more? I love their color scheme and I love that they are matching opposites (blue/pink, blodie/brunette, straight/wavy, no bangs/bangs). The only complaint is about the eyes being the same, but it's fine anyway.
I must say that having them both makes me feel I'm satisfied about Momoko dolls and I don't need more (not including the ones I could really really love like Sweet Poodle and Orion's Sonata).
Of course they need a dress and of course they will be blue and pink to keep the color scheme.
I already had a blue and white striped dress ready for the blondie, but I was not able to find a pink and white striped one for the brunette even after several searches. I also tried to find something in my doll clothes box, but although I have many pink dresses nothing was fitting her.
When I picked the blue and white striped dress I had stored for the blondie, I realized I had a pink and white one I almost forgot about! I tried it on the brunette and it fits very well!
Gus woke up ridiculously early (for him, that's 6:00), screaming for me in the monitor "Mommy wet! Mommy wet!" Ugh. Sure enough, he had peed through his diaper/jammies and the sheets were soaked. Looks like he's up for the day.
To the rescue? Television. Thomas & Friends to be specific.
Of course none of my Momoko dolls has still a name! XD But since these days I'm finally caring about them, and taking some pictures of them, I'm also thinking about some names.
The best I could do till now is Momoka, Mamiko, Mimika... XD I'll try harder!
About these two I had thought something like Soleil and Luna, or some Japanese names related with the Sun and the Moon like Hinata and Tsukiko or Hazuki. I could also find some names related to the four seasons since I have four Momoko dolls in total. Or I can just call these two with summer and spring related names, like Summer and Printemps, or Natsumi and Haruko. Or Haruka and Michiru, like SailorUranus and SailorNeptune, but the blondie is too feminine to be SailorUranus.
