traveling alone sometime impose some lonely evening that I fear, especialy having to go to a restaurant for diner. So I hesitated a lot before pushing the door of this restaurant attracted by the rembetika music sounds. Inside the restaurant only one table of eater + the musicians and the 2 waitresses. Unfortunately the music quickly stopped but the 2 ladies were so kind with me explaining the different style of music I heard and proposing me to taste one glass of honey raki. As I did like it, a second one came, then a third & a forth together. And no question for me to pay for the dessert and drinks! Unfortunately I am not able to give you the adress. But if you see this smile at a counter you know this is the place to be! And please thank her again for making my diner a sunshine!

Busy times ahead for the waitresses and waiters, in a frenzy and not always taking notice of all those friendly, smiling faces around them.
In Utrecht, alongside the canals, I was intrigued by the beauty and the glow of this waitress.
It occured to me that she was not thinking about "just doing a job" , but that she was paying attention to the "human being" behind the thirsty people. It made her even more beautiful ...
