the saturation has not changed, I guess this is due to the almost sunset hour when I took it. I understand the time constraint, I don't even have much time to post pictures.
Vor einer scharfen Linkskurve, nach der sich dann im Anschluss ein Pub befand, welcher gegenüber der Straße einen dazugehörigen Biergarten besaß.
Abdel Mageed is an aging waiter "64 years old" of the cafe nearby Barquq Mosque, he worked in that cafe for around 50 years.
He knows well the rules of hospitality as he welcomed me so once I stepped into the cafe, I got a very good chance to open a conversation a go deep into talking about his work and life.
The waiter told me that a gentleman bought me a drink. Now which one I don't know, because it attracts the eyes of several men when I passed by the salon with my velvet dress that highlights my butt well. I'll try to keep it classy and at the same time look sexy to find out who the gentleman was who gave me a Drink.
I at last got myself out yesterday and had a look for a little bit of autumn. My venue new to me in North Yorkshire, was not very inspiring. Although a large forest and my 5 mile circular wander would have no way done it justice, I did not feel any empathy for the place. In its lower parts it was littered with sycamore trees which I personal regards as weeds in the woodland. Heavens forbids I slag off the Sycamore given the demise to our most famous one last a week, but that was a very special tree in a special place. Although I very much doubt a Robin Hood character could have climbed one in the 12th century regardless of geography of England given that it wasn’t introduce until the 16th century. Anyway it was great to be out in new surroundings and a wet woodland is always going to have some appeal. In the upper reachers I came across this twisted young oak although I would guess it has taken it several decades to get to this height as larger conifers surround it saw their demise it saw its next avenue of light through the canopy. My title refers to its corkscrew shape and the waiting game its played in its development.
Another from my recent trip 'Up North' This was taken in Edinburgh, I couldn't help but peep down all the 'Closes' and Wynds' I found them fascinating.
Closes and wynds are narrow lanes running out south and north off the Royal Mile. This is why, when looking at a map, the Royal Mile resembles a fish bone. Each close has a name, usually associated with the owner of tenements on that close.
Thanks for your time

This is a restaurant in Warsaw. The kitchen on the right, is in a basement so deep and low from the ground that required the waiter bending to go in.
I appreciated also the architecture of the building and the painted wooden windows shutters. They were hand made and original of the building.
A waiter glares condescendingly at something off picture. La Terrasse, Belgium, Brussels.
The scene as it happened was as dramatic as it is depiticed. Me and my friend where traveling around the winding cobblestone pathways of Brussels's cafe district looking for the Cafe Delirium. We where walking buy and we heard glass break, and then some rapid footsteps as if someone was fleeing. We did not see who was responsible, but only to see the head waiter storm out of the cafe, and then stare down the ally towards the street. As he did that I grabbed my camera and took this shot.
Given this was taken before social media, or even before I had any idea how to get a proper scan done, or even thought about sharing my work online, this sat in box from 2005 until 2024, when I finally had the money to start getting old photos scanned. Big thanks to "Last Good Film Lab" in Hollywood.
