Hovering above the entrance to another closed pub and restaurant, this fellow looks like he's fearful for his job. And he should be. Seen in County Mayo, Ireland.

Whilst putting away the cutlery my eye caught sight of this 'waiter's friend'. I know it came from my Dad's home, and seem to remember it was given to him, but it's so long ago I can't remember any details.
Go to a really 'posh' restaurant and the Sommelier is bound to have one! It's a glorified corkscrew bottle opener that folds into a pen knife shape, and here it is closed up!
