Trieste is located on the Gulf of Trieste which is the northernmost part of the Mediterranean Sea basin. The city lies at the foot of the Karst (Carso) Plateau.

Just down the street from the previous red & white house. What especially caught my attention were the rooftop flower boxes filled with small pines.
Austin downtown World Wide Photo Walk started in the rain from the corner of 6th and Brazos in front of the Driskill Hotel. The rain let up for most of the walk and left lots of great puddles and mist.
