Der Mercedes-Benz W108/W109 war ein Oberklasse-Modell von Mercedes-Benz und war von 1965 bis 1972 auf dem Markt.
Modellbezeichnungen der Wagen waren 250 S, 250 SE, 280 S, 280 SE, 280 SEL, 300 SE, 300 SEL, 280 SE 3.5, 280 SEL 3.5, 300 SEL 3.5 und 300 SEL 6.3.
4 wheel bogie on W 640 (formerly AH 2). This bogie is actually off AH 1 as the far side is marked Jackson & Sharp of Wilmington, Delaware U.S.A. who were the builders of AH 1 in 1877. AH 2 was built by Gilbert & Bush of New York in 1880.

We had one of my favorite series this past fall called "W" based on the Wizard of Oz. This was one of the posters we had at all of our campuses giving a sneak peek as to what was coming.
My first attempt at putting two images together in Elements. - A B&W version!!
Sarah was taken inside with a horrendously cluttered background, which I could do nothing about, so I thought that I would experiment with changing backgrounds for the first time.
There are still many things to learn/apply - eg feathering, blending, lighting, shadows etc, etc, etc, but for a first attempt, I am quite pleased with it.
