I first stumbled upon this very unusual property last winter, and posted a few pics of it. Today I was interested to explore the secluded garden area just east of the house. It's awesome...so full of architectural artifacts it might best be described as a Home for Wayward Terra Cotta. Check it out if you're ever in the 'hood.

On the way back of a photos trip in an ice cave, we stopped to Hofskirkja, one of the last turf church of Iceland, it's preserved as historical monuments. I wanted to see it since a long time and I'm sure it must be lovely at the sunset... for a next trip!
More well known as a boating and holiday accommodation booking agency, Hoseasons also operated a boatyard on Commodore Road Oulton Broad until 1967. This publicity postcard is of the six to seven berth cruiser Corinthian. Built prewar, she and her sister Crusader operated from Acle at Easticks Yacht Station. Corinthian transferred to Hoseasons yard post-war but I can not find any trace of her sister. Her last season in hire was 1960.
