For those dreaming and wishing, N&W 1218 while under steam in the late 80s or early 90s, my memory fails me. Was one of the many bystanders preparing to board for a wonderful ride. Maybe someday it will steam again.

There is a different beauty in a black and white photograph. I like the action of skim boarding and the frozen wave in the starkness of a B&W image which brings out texture and form so much more.
