The new W114/W115 Series was the successor of the famous Mercedes Fintail models. It was designed by Paul Bracq and were based at the bigger W108/W109.
W114 had a 6 cylinder engine, while W115 had a 4 cylinder but they shared the same body.
A minor facelift followed in 1973.
This car was probably imported from the US.

This 280 E Automatic is part of the W114 series built by Mercedes-Benz from 1968 until 1976. It was the top of the line motorisation with its 2.8 litre 6-cylinder engine and electronic injection.
