Built in Lowestoft and launched in 1944. Transferred to the Royal Norwegian Navy on completion.
Eventually became the MV Probe, last used as a survey ship operating from Lowestoft in the 1960s and sold for scrap in 1969.

Harwich is a home port for many of the Trinity House light vessels.
Moored on the left, you can see the THV Patricia multi functional vessel used for maintaining and servicing navigation aids such as buoys and light vessels. Officially it is called a Buoy Tender Vessel.
It is their flagship and even has comfortable facilities for hosting dignitaries etc.
It was built in Leith at Robb Caledon Shipbuilders in 1982 and is Trinity House's 3rd ship named the Patricia.
