Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks run a private courtesy bus service for their clients from the Holiday Park high on the hill above Woolacombe to the beach. Performing this role on a very sunny 14 May 2014 was Bristol VR UFX 856S and is seen here just leaving the beach stop on its way back up the hill to the Holiday Park. It was an amazing sound when it turned the corner after this photo was taken and started climbing steeply.
A previous open top VR fulfilling this role was ex Western National AFJ 705T. Sneaking into view behind is Filers Solo MX57 CBV on the 303 to Barnstaple.

Modeling Johnny Ranger McCoy's Gold 45 Revolver Gold'N'Virtue clothes! Pretty, smiling blue eyes and long, long legs! A classic California goddess!
The Colt 45 Revolver comes directly form Clint Eastwood's/Sergio Leone's Fistful of Dollars--my favorite Western--heck my favorite all-time film, exalting the classical, archetypal themes I seek in all my photography! The goddess is standing in front of the 45surf summer beach house!
She was tall, thin, pretty, and fit with gorgeous blue eyes and long, long legs! Shot with the D800E and my favorite workhorse lens the very sharp Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II AF-S Nikkor Zoom Lens. A slight change of pace for all my flickr fans!

Ergo dx4/dt=ic--the foundational equation of all time and motion which is on all the shirts, clothes, and swimsuits. Every photon that hits my Nikon D800e's sensor does it by surfing the fourth expanding dimension, which is moving at c relative to the three spatial dimensions, or dx4/dt=ic!

Great Yarmouth Transport were one of a small number of municipal operators to specify the Bristol VR, though the ready availability of the locally built ECW bodywork might have been an influencing factor. Here PVG 24W skirts the roundabout in front of Britannia Pier wearing it's attractive traditional colour scheme. An unusual feature, if a little 'anoraky' is the late use of tube type 10.00x20 tyres, rather than the then almost universally standard 11x22.5 tubeless. I have to confess that I've never been back to the town since their last AEC Swifts were withdrawn, so am not sure what 'delights' lurk there these days.

FIrst time I have driven a Leyland 680 engined Bristol VR and all I can say is it's quieter in the driver's seat than it is at the rear. Southdown 275 (JWV 275W) is seen in Steyning this afternoon, 1st September 2013.
Vanmiddag klaarde het op en ik zag een melding dat HSL met de Waverider klaarstond in Oldenzaal voor vertrek richting Tilburg. Daarvoor ben ik snel naar Wierden gefietst. In het pad waarin ik deze had verwacht zat echter VolkerRail, maar een 1700 in VolkerRail kleurstelling had ik nog niet dus met deze ben ik ook tevreden.
