Do it!

But the real issue I have is if you look over at the login info on a failed password attempt.

Don't worry, that's not my real password. I noticed it and retested it for a screenshot.

Snapped this after about an hour and a half wait to vote. At 11pm the neighborhood basically erupted in honking and cheering for the rest of the night-exciting although impossible to sleep!

Another questionable eurovision outfit.

Every year, the Eurovision Song Contest provides a reliable mix of kitsch, awful pop songs, tears, hyperactive visuals, and intercultural rivalry to the 125 million viewers who tune in from around the world. Dozens of countries battle it out. This year's contest was held in Baku, Azerbaijan.

I voted today!

I dropped off my ballot at Norton Younglove Center & Highgrove Fire Station at 9:30am this morning. The whole process was pretty painless. And I didn't take many photos because it happened too quickly!

I was asked to sign in the moment I walked in. The nice lady at the counter told me I can just drop off my ballot on the left side. I went in and man at the door directed me to the left side as well. I gave my ballot to the lady at the desk and she gave me a sticker. This all must have happened under a few minutes.

That was my voter experience. Did you you vote? How did your experience go?

This is the inaugural year for this contest which is sponsored by the Hawaii State Bar Association's Civic Education Committee, the Hawaii State Bar Foundation, in conjunction with the Hawaii Department of Education.

This year’s theme “2014 American Democracy and the Rule of Law: Every Vote Matters” is also the theme for the HSBA’s 2014 Law Day.

The calendar contest is the "kick-off" of a renewed effort on the part of the Hawaii Department of Education to bring awareness to the importance of exercising our civic responsibilities by registering to vote and voting.

Sportsmen Vote Branding

Digital and Interactive, Mobile Marketing And Applications, Website Design and Development

Intermedia Outdoors, the premier outdoor sports-oriented media group in the United States serving the interests of 80 million devoted sportsmen whenever and wherever they choose to indulge in their passions, came to Bluetext to design and develop a new media brand and digital platform called SportsmenVote.com.

The digital platform was delivered to be optimized across a three screen environment for maximum user interaction. The goal was to launch a forum for interested sportsmen to voice their opinions on candidates and policy issues for upcoming elections. Intermedia Outdoors is looking to garner enthusiasm for the 2012 election cycle within an audience with lower than average voting statistics. With this in mind, Bluetext created a new, vibrant and politically-natured brand that would drive the campaign, with an accompanying website to host the forum and drive interaction.

“As the leading media resource for over 52 million hunters, shooters, and anglers, InterMedia Outdoors has a long history of providing information, inspiration and advocacy for the Sportsmen community,” says Jeff Paro, CEO of InterMedia Outdoors Inc. “Sportsmenvote.com will serve the important role of keeping our communities informed and engaged.”

It wasn't until I was in college that I discovered there was more than one type of delegate in primary elections. When I asked people at the polls yesterday if they knew about different delegates most were unaware, so, what's the difference? Well, just think of it this way: Super delegates (as Democrats call them) or, in the Republican case, "unpledged" delegates are usually current and former elected officials appointed by their party that have absolute freedom to vote for any candidate, while standard delegates (ie: regular Joes like me who go through an application process) must vote for the candidate they committed to at an earlier date.

I voted today. This sign was there just before you picked up your ballot. It indicates no cell phones and no cameras, but doesn't say anything about cameraphones. So I guess I'm okay.
