I want very much to evangelize about Second Life® content creation as a speaker at the 2009 SXSW Interactive Fest, and whip up some excitement about the mind-bending things that you are doing in our virtual world. I also want to pull together a fantastic panel of people to communicate our story. There are hundreds of submissions for panels and competition is fierce, so I'm hoping you will vote for me. These days, with even high turnout elections hovering at 50% of eligible voters, voting seems nearly an act of resistance.
I don't think he was officially part of the program, but he was fun to watch. Get-out-the-vote party, Smith Park, Jackson, Mississippi.
Have taken Eilidh to every vote done since she was born (EU referendum, local council election and this General Election) and she got to post the vote in the box once I had made my mark. A bit upset and disappointed with the result and as I have voted, I get to moan about the result.

Voted, sealed, notarized, mailed--and then hopefully counted! The election board thoughtfully included one of those "I voted" stickers in with my absentee ballot. KCMO voters, don't forget the primary election is Tuesday! (Feb 27)

July 14, 2014 - Voting proceeded smoothly as the students orderly casted their votes for their preferred candidates. The casting of votes started at 9am and lasted until 3 pm. After the tireless and hardworking student COMMELEC, led by chairwoman Ms. Alyssalene Raja, canvassed the votes until completion at 7pm. Special thanks to the COMMELEC for their dedication to their work.

Paul Timmins decided to do a little experiment. Will we see any results from it? Hard to say. Probably depends on some obscure bits of election law / local procedure.
The real question is... did I cast this vote, or did I ask the voting official for a clean ballot after taking this photo? ;-)
