Went down to vote this morning before work, and no problems! The whole

thing took less than 4 minutes, including a 1 minute walk to and from the

car.

OBAMA

Was here on voting day for the Prime Minister. I went to the poll to watch Edward vote. Cameron, Brown, or Clegg?

Montgomery County could not thwart me!

One of the easiest ballots that I've ever filled out-- only four positions to vote for.

The receipt here is sitting on top of my car.

I vote by absentee ballot. The downside is I don't get a little "I Voted!" sticker. I miss those. Rooted around my desk drawer and the only sticker I could find was this ThinkGeek "Timmy" one to stand in its stead. Yes, I'm lame...

He was so very gracious. Did anyone else notice that when McCain first mentioned Obama's name the republicans booed but when Obama mention McCain there was a small roar of cheers? Just goes to show the difference between Republicans and Democrats. ============oh look, its an audinece of absolutely no diversity.

my first vote as an american citizen

Not really the kind of image that I do alot of, but I was interested in the old green tiles and the graffiti. From my brief interlude in San Francisco last week. I think this was somewhere around Polk and Clay streets.

And the same person wrote "Vote" under the St. Vital bridge. We needed to visit this bridge often and tried to touch the sign with a stick. Finally, Noah came up with the idea to post his own signs after building them with small paper circles.

First ballot cast in my precinct in Barstow California. Despite appearances I am happy about my vote. Now for some breakfast. . .

Andy Pallotta speaks with Selina Durio - NYSUT BOD

The morning of Monday, October 27, actor Jason Alexander hosted a Vote Early for Change event at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.

Early voting in Florida began Monday, October 20 and Jason Alexander is encouraging voters to cast their ballot early in Palm Beach county and throughout South Florida. Early voting is available until Sunday, November 2, the polls will all be closed on November 3 and then of course November 4 is the Official Election Day and the last opportunity you will have to express your self and help to select Barack Obama as the next President of the United States.

Since you are looking at these photos, I assume you are voting for Obama, so it is very important to remember that if you really want Barack Obama and Joe Biden to be able to effect the change we all want, then you also need to vote for Democrats down the entire ticket...

On other South Florida stops, Alexander was joined by Congressman Robert Wexler, Congressman Ron Klein, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, State Senator Ted Deutch, State Senator Jeremy Ring, and others.

I can have the right to vote. I have the right to vote. Whenever there is a federal or local election I am allowed to vote. I can go in and vote for whatever I want to and I also can decide not to vote. But, others don’t have the option to vote or not. In some places, incarceration leads to be being disenfranchised. The right to vote and participate in our democracy is one of the fundamental rights of our country. Even though it is one of the fundamental rights of our country, people can be stripped of their right to vote. They can no longer participate in our democracy and politicians do not have to worry about incarcerated citizens and representing them. They can’t have appropriate representation because they can’t have the right to vote. However, I can have appropriate representation because I can have the right to vote.

Ukraine's 2014 Parliamentary Elections

work towards equality yay!

So, Feb 14 kicked off the first of many future door-to-door canvasses.

I have to be honest. I don't really like canvassing, but I do think it's a great way to get in contact and have a discussion with the opposition.

Most of the people "weren't home", so I didn't get to speak to many. but one interaction I had that sticks out was with a woman who did not support gay marriage, but by the end of our conversation, she was undecided. I know it doesn't seem like that big of a deal, but it was pretty cool to see her stop and rethink her position on the issue. Hopefully when the issue is back on the ballot, she'll remember our conversation and vote in support of gay marriage.

There were only 70 of us out and about Pasadena, which was an area that prop 8 won in by a slim margin. The chart pictured above shows our results. We were asked to categorize the voters we spoke to on scale of 1-4 1 being supporters who also want to volunteer and 4 being the worstest. I have labeled what the numbers written in pink stand for on the photo.
