Moscow, new district.

All you can do is just keep your head to the sky and say wow.

I wanted to play with Snapseed.

So in the next few photos, taken with the phone, you'll see some tricky post-production. Anyway, the weather was perfect, the light amazing and the buildings too.

Enjoy this non-touristic new district.

I'm so upset for not having my camera with me, because it broke some weeks ago in Lapland and I have to wait until June to be back in Italy and be able to fix it (I hope). I'll try to take some pictures with my phone and bring you with me in this trip. Hope you enjoy!

Leave comments, dislikes or whatever you want and if you want continue to follow me and have a look to the rest of the gallery. Enjoy!!! :)

If you look just behind the Bird, you can see, what looks like a Vortex.

Got a new job cleaning house. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. There are worse ways to make a living.

The houseowner said don't open that door. Well, of course, I had to. Don't want to be working for a serial killer now do I?

So that's how I got sucked into a vortex.

Morale of the story: if someone says don't open the door, quit! Anyone who hides a vortex behind a door is bonkers. Besides he still could be a murderer. Great place to dump a body.

Well, he did rescue me so he's not a bad boss and obviously too nice to be a killer or he'd have left me there.

Did I quit? Hell, no. He doubled my salary. Like I said, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

Vortex, fun with a Fern.

So how was your weekend? I had an amazing time sharing the stage with some of the best photogs out there at the Out Of Chicago Conference (@outofchicago) Summer Conference. It really feels empowering hanging with a ton of creatives whether they were teachers or attendees. I’m truly honored to be a part of your lives and it was really a pleasure of meeting you all. So until we meet again. Cheers!

Happy Sliders Sunday ;o)

The joy of Sliders Sunday is the freedom it offers to take an original image and simply play with it until it becomes something quite different! I began this journey with an image of a small bow from a box of chocolates. After using Photoshop Filter Gallery and iPad apps it was transformed into the Vortex image. I then combined it with two background images so that the abstract could tell a story ;o)

The original vortex image, brushes and textures are my own - and my thanks to Anna J Lenabem for Background Nostalgia 2

and Background Meadow

After an interesting trip to South East Asia, I'm back in Holland. Seen beautiful things and collected some great memories. Upcoming weeks I'll share some of the most precious images I made during our stay in Singapore and the Philippines.

To kick of I present world's highest (40 m) indoor waterfall: the Vortex at Changi Airport - Singapore. Right after we landed at Singapore airport we visited this place. Unfortunately we had to wait a couple of hours before the waterfall started. It was worth it. A good start for what was coming!

Enjoy!

A family of Pink-eared Ducks took advantage of the lovely and quiet morning to practice vortexing with their only remaining offspring. These ducks often feed by creating a water vortex to concentrate plankton.
