If our souls were the windows of civilisation, what would they reveal? In VOID, choreographer Boi Sakti confronts the moral decay and hypocrisy engulfing society and calls into question the very meaning of ‘civilisation’. The soul is wounded. Conscience has fallen into a black hole. Principle and reason have given way to greed and falsities. There is a tragic loss of humanity despite claims of greater openness in a civilised world. This affecting and insightful work examines these distortions and seeks to contextualise them. The world premiere is performed by T.H.E Dance Company led by artistic director Kuik Swee Boon, and features award-winning sound designer Darren Ng. At once powerful and poetic, VOID throws the windows wide open and compels you to face what is really there.
Ran by the University of Illinois- donated by Robert Allerton in 1946. Over 100 sculptures, formal gardens, a pond, and a mansion make up this awesome estate. If you are ever in Central Illinois, you will not want to miss this. www.allerton.uiuc.edu/index.html

Visited Berlin for the first time last weekend. Ate and drank to much as to be expected and did a lot of sight seeing. One of the must see's is the Jewish Museum designed by Daniel Libeskind. This is the Memory Void with an art Installation.
"The architect Daniel Libeskind created empty spaces in several parts of the building. These so called voids extend vertically through the museum and represent the absense of Jews from German society.
The Memory Void contains a work by the Israeli artist Menashe Kadishman, who calls his installation 'Shalekhet' or 'Fallen Leaves.' He dedicated the over 10,000 faces covering the floor to all the innocent victims of war and violence."
A very poignant and moving space, one of the best art installations I've ever seen.
It's my first time shooting with Fuji Provia 50 and the entire roll came out underexposed. Usually I tend to underexpose my shots around 2 stops, but this time I miscalculated everything. Well, next time I should be extremely cautious when using ISO 50 films. Lesson learned.

We have access to numerous steel voids or cast offs from local manufacturers which we design into tables, screens, wall inserts or simply to hang as art. Lots of sizes and patterns available
I like to carry a Magnet with me to test things like Stainless steel (does not tend to carry a strong magnetic charge) and swell for retrieving ferrous metal objects dropped on the carpet.
So I added one to my Warranty Voider.
