***** Hey guys !
Today I'm gonna talk about guess what ? Shoes !
I repaint all theses shoes, you may recognize them, it was kinda simple, a few thin coats of acrylic paint and a water base vernish. Never use modpodge ! or it will stick to.. almost anything. Mattel do GREAT mold for shoes but never apply the good color for them. These were neon colors like pink, yellow, orange, blue and I paint them in real shoes color that you would buy for yourself :).
I was afraid to paint them at first... If it damage them...But I thought... I would not wear them anyway ! They are way too cartoonish for the kind of fashion I wear, so I jump and guess what ! they turn out great ! Customizing clothes is a totally different thing, but for shoes, it really seems like an easy option.
so don't be afraid and if you don't like it and that your shoe was already just one simple color, without actual mattel default painting on it, you can take it out with nail polish remover before applying vernish to it and it will come back to normal.

Following a stunning winter ascent of Garbh Bheinn the day before, I had spent the evening in The Sligachan Hotel. After breakfast I headed out for a little dander and tried to capture some of Skye (and Scotlands!) most impressive scenery!
